IMPORTANT UPDATE: Jam Productions announces “No Dome, No Home” Toronto Christmas Festival on hold for one more year TORONTO, ON – It is with great disappointment that Toronto’s Christmas Festival will have to be delayed another year. Due to unforeseen circumstances the organizers of Christmas Festival TO have decided to wait one more year to execute an event that completely mystifies their guests. Four domes, “Christmas Igloos” were supposed to take over Yonge-Dundas Square, but the dome providers, unable to ship and build these structures in time for the event has forced organizers to look for alternative indoor housing for over forty vendors. “The domes meant everything, they were our four giant igloos that housed our Christmas cities. Without them, we felt the magical feeling of Christmas would be lost,” said Johny Mikhael, Director of Operations. Large tents and other structural options were proposed as alternative housing options but none would bring that same feeling of wonder to the thousands expected for the festival. Although disappointed they cannot partake in the festivities this year, the Christmas Festival team is excited to start work for next year’s Christmas City, and a potential mid-year teaser for those who love Christmas in July.
